SATURDAY - NON-STOP RAIN
Beneath the ewe,
chewing, guarding,
lie two Easter lambs
On the hill above
a swollen stream
waterfalls over
The rain in Wales
is inescapable
Below Plynlimon
a rabbit slowly climbs
the steep brown slope,
freezes to invisibility
* * * * *
The Sunday cock
crows thrice
Silver dew shimmers
under re-emerged sun.
