SNAP - APRIL 5th 2006
the new clock
on the reconstructed
mini-roundabout
is stuck at twenty to nine
rescued from the fallen tower
of the rubber factory
demolished in favour
of an estate of yuppie houses
its four faces
seem forlorn
in the taxi
returning from the supermarket
the first bee of the year
buzzes lethargically
unthreatening
this cold spring day
