  1. Haiku are a good way to gather very important lessons together in convenient packages. Or they are like a little key that can open up a whole room full of discussion. Nice job on these. How many do you have?

  2. I don't label these "haiku" - when I wrote these I would have labeled them "senryu" but that is an erroneous classification too - they are just pithy little small poems. I later came to learn that "haiku" has very little to do with counting syllables - I've written several hundred haiku or haiku-like pieces as you'll see in the days to come - shortly here will be appearing a series of "squares" - a poetic form I invented in 1973.
